Ahmed Abu Abla, head of Al Ahly’s medical staff, revealed that Hossam Hassan, our striker, will be out for a week after picking up a knock in the leg during the team’s game against Ghazl El Mahalla.

The team’s doctor added that Hassan will have to perform a special recovery program before returning back to the team’s full training sessions.

On a different note, the Red Eagles began their preparations today for Smouha’s league game on Thursday after defeating Ghazl El Mahalla 3-2 on Monday in the fifth fixture of the league.
